How the R7Ex meets the constraints of sites with explosive atmospheres in Côte d'Ivoire and across West Africa.

01 Context On an oil platform or in a refinery, the slightest spark in an explosive atmosphere is prohibited.
02 Challenge A standard radio is not permitted in an ATEX zone: it is a major risk and a non-compliance.
03 Response The intrinsically safe, ATEX/IECEx certified R7Ex enables communication in zone 1 or 21. The fall alert and lone worker function trigger a call for help automatically.
04 Result Teams that are reachable and protected, with equipment compliant with the zone.
