§ 3 · IN THE FIELD

The LEX L30 in the field

How the LEX L30 serves teams that need voice and data on a single terminal.

  1. 01 Context A response team needs to coordinate by voice and share photos and videos from the field with its control centre.
  2. 02 Challenge A consumer smartphone does not stand up to field conditions, and a radio alone cannot transmit images.
  3. 03 Response The LEX L30 combines WAVE PTX push-to-talk, messages, photos and video in an IP68 rugged terminal, with physical controls usable without looking at the screen.
  4. 04 Result A single terminal for voice and data. The detailed datasheet has not yet been published by Motorola Solutions: we will send it on request as soon as it is released.
